Good friends, they say, are always there for one another. And true to form, Jennifer Aniston was at her old pal Courteney Cox's side when she turned out to present a new series in Los Angeles.

The two actresses, who spent a decade delighting TV audiences with their portrayals of Rachel and Monica in Friends, were reunited on Saturday at the premiere of the show Dirt. Courteney and her husband David Arquette are producing the new series, which follows the adventures of a tabloid editor and her photographer friend.

And although she and Jennifer are both busy with movie projects these days, they aren't ruling out a return to the characters that made them famous in the first place. "We talk about a reunion show because we love each other and we hang out all the time," revealed Courteney. "I'm not opposed to it. Why not? What are we all doing? It sounds fun."

In the meantime fans can look forward to seeing Jennifer opposite British favourites Ben Kingsley and Colin Firth in the Coen brothers' latest crime caper, Gambit. The 37-year-old, who recently confirmed her split from funnyman Vince Vaughan, is also set to star opposite Meryl Streep in the thriller Wanted.
