Ola Jordan has spoken out in support of fellow Strictly Come Dancing professional Karen Hauer, telling fans to stop sending "nasty tweets".
The two ladies hit the headlines at the weekend when it was revealed that Karen had verbally attacked Ola during training, leaving her in tears.
But on Sunday night, the petite blonde – partnered with Ashley Taylor Dawson – put any personal grievances aside to publicly back Karen on the social media site.
"Very upset to see the papers today as the BBC have already dealt with the situation, Karen has apologised for her outburst," Ola tweeted after Sunday's results show.
"We all want to move forward and put this incident behind us and make sure this is the best series of Strictly ever!!!"
Reassuring fans, she added, "Just wanted to say I'm NOT leaving the show. Also to all the Strictly supporters, please stop sending Karen nasty tweets, Great family show."
Ola – married to fellow Strictly star James Jordan – and her partner Ashley are among the favourites to win this year’s show.
Karen, who joined the Strictly team last year, is partnered with Hairy Bikers presenter Dave Myers.
On Sunday morning, Ola's spokesperson confirmed that the argument had taken place.
"On Monday 28th October, Karen Hauer verbally attacked Ola during group pro training. Ola did continue with her training as she couldn't let her partner Ashley, or the show down.
"The BBC handled the matter and Karen has now apologised to Ola.
"Ola was deeply upset by the incident and has struggled emotionally this week."
A BBC spokesman added, "Regrettably there was an argument between professional dancers Karen Hauer and Ola Jordan on Monday, but the matter has been resolved and apologies accepted by all parties.
"Karen has apologised to Ola for the incident, agreed to put it behind them and they continue to work together in the group dances."
Meanwhile, Rachel Riley became the fifth celebrity to leave the dance floor at the weekend.
"So so very sad to see the lovely RachelRileyRR and @PashaKovalev leave the competition!" Ola tweeted. "Will miss you very much xxx."
