She found fame as one of the stars of Made in Chelsea, and now Millie Mackintosh is preparing to appear in another reality show —Celebrity Masterchef.
Despite her decision to retire from TV screens a few months ago, 24-year-old Millie is considering a stint on the cookery show, according to the Mirror.
"Millie loves cooking and thinks the show is great, so it would be a perfect return to television for her," a source said. "She'd be a brilliant signing for the show."
The confectionary heiress is a big foodie, and regularly posts pictures on her Instagram page of her culinary creations. And she is evidently keen to expand her knowledge; just recently she shared a photo of her new book, Flavour Thesaurus.
Millie bowed out of reality TV last June. At the time, she had recently become engaged to rapper Professor Green, and he was the one who revealed she was leaving Made in Chelsea. "She's just had enough of it," he said. "I'm happy with he to do anything that makes her happy - and it really wasn't making her happy."
Millie is said to have since been approached to appear in a few shows. "Nothing has been signed yet, so there are a number of different possibilities on the table," the source told the Mirror.
"There has been some talk of her getting her own show or even doing some presenting work, but it would have to be the right project.
Professor Green, who married Millie in a romantic ceremony in September, is said to be supportive of his wife's burgeoning new TV career. "He is very happy for Millie and thinks she's be great in whatever she does. It's the start of an exciting new chapter for her."
