Cara Delevingne in talks to play her first villain in DC Comics film Suicide Squad

Cara Delevingne

is shaping up to be an important actress to watch, with the

supermodel now rumoured to be in talks for Warner Bros Suicide Squad.

A fictional organisation within the DC Comics Universe, the Squad is made up of anti-hero villains who become valuable to the government and carry out high-risk operations.

Although earlier drafts of the script did not include

Harley Quinn,

a long-time female villain associated with the Squad,

could be who Cara is being lined up to play.

David Ayer, who recently premiered

Fury

with Brad Pitt at the

London Film Festival

, is currently heading up rewrites.This could be Cara's second high-profile role in recent months if successful.
