Cara Delevingne in talks to play her first villain in DC Comics film Suicide Squad
Cara Delevingne is shaping up to be an important actress to watch, with the supermodel now rumoured to be in talks for Warner Bros Suicide Squad.

A fictional organisation within the DC Comics Universe, the Squad is made up of anti-hero villains who become valuable to the government and carry out high-risk operations.

Although earlier drafts of the script did not include Harley Quinn, a long-time female villain associated with the Squad, Latino-Review who broke the new believe this could be who Cara is being lined up to play.

David Ayer, who recently premiered Fury with Brad Pitt at the London Film Festival, is currently heading up rewrites.

This could be Cara's second high-profile role in recent months if successful.

In September, she landed one of the most desirable female lead characters in some time with Paper Towns, an adaptation of John Green's hugely popular young adult novel.

She also received positive reviews for her role in The Face of an Angel, and gained a leading role in the Beach Boys-themed musical All Summer Long.

Earlier in 2014 she wrapped filming on several films including Tulip Fever with Dame Judi Dench, Dane DeHaan, Cressida Bonas, and Alicia Vikander, and which is being produced by Oscar-winning producer Harvey Weinstein, and Pan with Hugh Jackman and Rooney Mara.
