The snap made reference to their on-screen romance, as it read: "Will cheating Nina and Jack get caught in the act?" Delta, who played a student for one year on the show, shared another photo of the whole 2002-2003 cast, with the caption: "Look out Ramsey Street I'm back ❤... #30thanniversary #ninareturns." The blonde beauty looks to have already started filming her scenes as she uploaded a selfie with make-up artist Michael Brennan after a "#greatdayonset".

Delta, who will also star in a special Neighbours 30th anniversary documentary, was forced to leave the show at the age of 18, when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma disease. At the time the singer revealed that she suffered from fatigue, weight loss and body rashes. Delta also undertook chemotherapy which resulted in the loss of her hair. Since then, the Born To Try chart topper has produced four studio albums and kicked off her pop career with her debut collection Innocent Eyes, less than a year after she started on Neighbours.

Other characters who will be making a temporary comeback on the show include Anne Charleston and Ian Smith to play Madge and Harold Bishop respectively. More familiar faces are thought to be returning for the big anniversary, with Kylie Minogue also rumoured to be taking part. "I think Kylie is on board for the special and I imagine everyone will be in on it because it's a big occasion," Anne, 71, previously told The Mirror. "I look on those days with fondness and there is no way in hell I'd walk away from the special because it's a celebration and I think we should all be involved in it."
