Ferne McCann and Vicky Pattison are reuniting for a brand new series for ITV's daytime showThis Morning.

The pair, who became good friends while on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, have joined up to take a road trip across the Amalfi Coast, travelling from Sorrento to Naples. The pals will take in Italian scenery, experience local culture and learn how to make traditional pizzas during their travels.

The two friends took part in a promo for their new show, which will air later in the year, where they dressed in Thelma and Louise style outfits while driving in a Fiat 500.

The Loose Women panellist spoke about her excitement about their latest venture, saying: "It’s the dream to work with Ferne on this road trip for This Morning, we have been out socially since the jungle but to join forces again for work is more than we could ask for.

"I love her to bits and it’s going to be such a laugh! I loved recreating the look for the promo for this. I am not sure which one I am and which one Ferne is but I definitely wouldn’t say no to meeting a Brad Pitt along the way either…"

Ferne, who is the showbiz reporter for This Morning, said: "I'm so excited about doing this with Vicky, out of everyone in the jungle, she's the one that I've kept in touch with the most. It's just going to be an amazing trip and I'm such a foodie too so I feel like you should go to Italy to eat - so there'll be no diet involved!”

"I'm designated driver because Vicky doesn't drive! I've got my bus license so I'm pretty sure I'll be OK along those winding roads and I'm always up for a challenge so she'll be in safe hands."

The couple also opened up about what they were most looking forward to seeing on their travels, with Vicky joking: "I cannot wait to see the Amalfi Coast, it's not somewhere I have been before and it’s meant to be beautiful... plus I heard that George Clooney lives round there so we will definitely be giving him a knock!"
