The upcoming episode of Comedy Central's popular show Drunk History sees Emma Bunton portray Beatrix Potter and act of the story of how she was inspired to write the The Tale of Peter Rabbit. Since the stories in Drunk History are told by inebriated comedians, with Emma's narrated by Kerry Howard, the former Spice Girl's performance is simply hilarious.

In one clip, Kerry narrates how Beatrix was first inspired to write the stories. "So she's in the garden and she spots a couple of rabbits and she's like 'Hey I love you guys'", she explains. "'Oh my god I love rabbits you're so cute, come here.' And the rabbits are like, 'Mmm you got any carrots?' and they all make friends with B because she just gives them loads of food." She continued: "One afternoon [Beatrix] was sat in a room and it was the rabbit! Peter the rabbit! And he looked at her and he was like, 'Alright chuck long time no see, I've been in Manchester… I just wanna say and me and the gang, Flopsy, Mopsy and the rest, we still believe in you! Remember the fun we used to have? The stories you used to write about us?'

She reads these letters that she wrote years ago and the letters were the beginning of a short story called 'Peter Rabbit'! So she wrote this fantastical tale about the rabbit nicking cabbage from farmer McGregor so she has an epiphany and she's like, 'This could be a novel for children!'" This isn't the first time Emma has tried her hand at acting, as she also appeared as Maid Marian in season two of the hit show. Speaking about getting into her role, she previously said: "Absolutely! I love dressing up, getting into character and wearing some fabulous outfits! Especially on this show, it's a chance to be a little bit naughty!"
