Who has made it to the final of Strictly Come Dancing 2017?

Mollie King and dance partner AJ Pritchard missed out on making it to the finals last week after being defeated by Gemma Atkinson. This has left Gemma with dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec to join Alexandra Burke, Debbie McGee and Joe McFadden with a chance of winning the 2017 grand glitter ball trophy.

When the winner will be announced

The final episode of Strictly Come Dancing 2017 will air on BBC One, Saturday, 16 December at 6:30pm. The results will be announced at the end of the show. And the excitement doesn't end there because we can start to look forward to Strictly Come Dancing's Christmas special, with even more celebrity participants. This is set to air 6:30pm on the 25 December.

How many dances will each contestant be doing?

After each celebrity dancing their way through an exhausting 12 live show performances, the final will involve three dances from each celebrity contestant. This will include a pick from the judges, a chosen routine from the couple and a spectacular showdance all to compete for this year's Strictly Come Dancing title.

Who will be hosting this year's final?

The perfect brunette and blonde dream team, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will be continuing to host the show through the live finals. The pair have been presenting the hit dance show together for four years, since Bruce Forsyth retired in 2013.
