Married at First Sight Australia's tenth series has, once again, gone down a treat with reality TV fans. The series, which was filmed in 2022, has already aired in full Down Under but fans in the UK are loving seeing episodes air nightly on E4.

Because of the differing schedules, fans in Australia have ready watched the final episodes which saw the contestants come together for their last dinner party and then a session with the experts. But if you're wanting some information on what went down before tuning in to the multi-episode finale, look no further. Here are just a few highlights of what went down…

Harrison and Brontë were cut from the edit

In a surprising turn of events, given they were a heavy focus of series ten, Harrison and Brontë's final session with experts Alessandra Rampolla, Melissa Schilling and John Aiken did not air in the last episode of Married at First Sight Australia.

According to reports, this is because the producers wanted to end the show on a more positive note and, given the couple's time on the show, plus the fact that they are no longer an item, we can assume their final moments together would have not fit the bill. They were both present for the final dinner party, where they spoke about the many ups and downs, they face throughout the experiment, but viewers will miss out on seeing them sit in front of the experts to say their formal goodbyes.

Sandy and Dan come face-to-face after pocket dial drama

This pair have not had it smooth sailing in series ten. Earlier in the series, Dan got caught up on a pocket-dial conundrum when fellow contestant Rupert Budgen accidentally phoned his wife Evelyn Ellis when he was on a night out with the boys, when Dan was overheard saying some unsavoury words.

Evelyn told Sandy what she had heard Dan say: "He was insinuating that he was too good for this experiment and too good for you." Ouch.

While sat on the couch and reliving what went down, Dan was forced to admit to Sandy and the experts that he did indeed say those things about his wife. Dan has since apologised for his behaviour to Sandy and also confirmed his new romance with nurse and influencer Samantha Symes, who he has been friends with for years and was actually a guest at his wedding to Sandy.

Claire and Jesse had a 'reunion' that confused many

Claire and Jesse's story in series ten had fans gripped. After Claire and Adam shared a kiss on a night out, they denied the "cheating" claims to begin with but Claire soon confessed after admitting the guilt was too much.

To Claire's credit, she took full responsibility for the situation and apologised profusely. Jesse ended up telling her that he respected her for the way she handled the fall out of the situation.

So when they eventually sat down for their final session with the experts – many were wondering if they would reconcile. Although they didn't say as much, Claire did say that was going to make a visit to Perth (Jesse's home city). However, we're not sure romance is on the cards given Jesse's comments on social media after the episode aired, which you can read about here.

That texting scandal finally came to light

It was the scandal that had everyone talking. During season ten, Tayla tied the knot with Hugo Armstrong, while Cam got married to Lyndall Grace. However, halfway through the season, rumours began to circulate about a potential sexting scandal between Tayla and Cam. Cam denied the claims, saying it was just a "friendly back and forth text." However, the truth soon came to light.

Defending himself, Cam said: "What happens after the final vows should not concern anyone.

"I have moved on from this experiment. I was never in a relationship, I was in an experiment… If you wanted a fairytale ending, get a job at Disneyland." Yikes.
