Why I can't get enough of Alesha Dixon's beauty look on Britain's Got Talent

In HELLO!'s first ever #AlexApproved, beauty influencer Alex Light reveals who gets her seal of approval. This week it's all about Britain's Got Talent's Alesha Dixon. Over to you, Alex...

Not many photos stop me in my tracks during my hourly (ok, maybe bi-hourly) scrolls through Instagram, but when this STUNNING snap of Alesha Dixon popped up on my screen, I had to take a minute. And then do a quick double tap of the heart button.

Yes, we all know she's gorgeous and her megawatt smile lights up the room, but she totally killed it with Wednesday night's look at the Britain's Got Talent live show. The 39-year-old judge ticked all the right boxes with her hair, make-up AND outfit… Seriously, I'm shook (trying some new millennial words out after my younger sisters urged me to become cooler – did I pull it off?).

First up, the make-up. I know it's cool and fashiony to clash your make-up with your outfit but personally, I LOVE a good matchy-matchy, coordinated ensemble – so I was delighted to see Alesha team her brown, sparkly Michael Costello jumpsuit with a matching super glossy brown lip and subtle, smoky bronzed eyes. I spoke to her make-up artist Francesca Neill to get the lowdown…

"We wanted the make-up to be all about the lip to perfectly complement the beautiful outfit," Francesca revealed. "So we kept the eyes defined but tonal, keeping all the focus on the lips and her glowing skin."

As for the products, Francesca used Tom Ford Traceless Foundation to get her airbrush-effect skin, with Iconic London Illuminator Drops to add a dewy, camera-ready glow. The eyes were defined with Huda Beauty's Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette and the star of the show - the statement lip - was created using Collection's Lipstick in Fig Delight and topped off with Tom Ford Lip Lacquer in Ultra Violet for a high gloss finish.

Alesha further ramped up the drama with poker-straight hair with a deep, side-parting- her stylist Michelle Sultan used The Ouai products and a ghd styler, obvs. A pair of incredible diamante drop earrings finished off her look and all-in-all, I'm obsessed. Thanks for giving me all the feels, Alesha. I'll be copying this look this weekend, that's for sure. Will you though? Let me know on Instagram @alexlight_ldn. Find out who gets my #AlexApproved seal of approval next week.
