She's known as one of the funniest women in showbusiness, but Ellen DeGeneres' comment to pregnant Drew Barrymore might not have made the actress laugh at the People's Choice Awards.
Luckily the expectant star saw the funny side when Ellen told her she looked fat – so much so that she decided to share the quip with the audience as she presented Adam Sandler with an award.
"Ellen DeGeneres just told me I was fat! But I'm not! It was really funny," said the 38-year-old star, who dressed her bump in a pretty white and pastel yellow Vionett dress.
Drew is expecting her second child with her husband Will Kopelman. The couple are already parents to baby Olive, who is one – and Drew recently confirmed they are set to welcome a second little girl.
She subtly shared the news in December while talking about her "future daughter" when accepting a beauty award in celebration of women.
A month previously, Drew shared her happy announcement, noting that: "Last time I never commented on it and people just stalked me the entire time,"
She added: "So yes, it's happening, it's true. I tried to keep it a secret for as long as possible.
"Will is just thrilled — we both are. We just wanted so badly for Olive to have a sibling. In some ways, it's really for her. So congratulations, Olive!"
