Jude Law is celebrating becoming a father for the fifth time after his ex-girlfriend singer Catherine Harding gave birth to a baby girl. A representative for the 42-year-old actor confirmed the happy news, stating that both parents are "delighted and continue to ask that their privacy and that of their child be respected".
Jude and 23-year-old Catherine dated briefly last year, with the songbird joining Jude for six weeks on location in the Czech Republic. Catherine, who also goes by the stage name, Cat Cavelli, is an up-and-coming artist championed by the likes of Perez Hilton.

In 2013, the celebrity blogger praised her indie electronica style. Speaking about one of her singles, he said: "Take Demi Lovato add some British coolness, some Madonna Frozen, some Laura Mvula and a whole lot of drum n bass awesomeness and you have Cruel Melody by Cat Cavelli!"
Last autumn Catherine moved into a home near the Hollywood star in the exclusive Hampstead area of London. Since then the pretty brunette has been busy homemaking, cooking, cuddling up with her dogs and of course writing songs.
In January she celebrated her pregnancy by having a pink-themed baby shower with a group of girlfriends.

Catherine Harding - far right - has welcomed a baby girl
Jude takes his responsibilities as a father very seriously. He has three children with former wife Sadie Frost – Rafferty, 18, Iris, 14, and 12-year-old Rudy and a five-year-old daughter Sophia, from his relationship with Samantha Burke.
The latest baby was announced in a statement released by the actor's representative in October.
"I can confirm that Jude Law and Catherine Harding are expecting a child together in the spring", read the statement which was released by Jude's representative.
It continued: "Whilst they are no longer in a relationship, they are both wholeheartedly committed to raising their child. They consider this a private matter and other than this confirmation no statement will be made. I ask that you respect the privacy of all parties involved and their families."
