Simon Gregson announces wife's pregnancy with hilarious Twitter photo

Simon Gregson is set to welcome baby number three with his wife Emma Gleave, and to announce the happy news, Simon shared a highly entertaining photo on Twitter. The Coronation Street star captioned the snap: "After a stressful few months.... myself and @emmagleave are excited to announce....."

The picture showed Simon, 40, holding a can of beer in one hand, with an arrow and the word "Beer" drawn on his stomach.

His wife Emma, meanwhile, had "Baby" penned across her stomach with an arrow pointing to her blossoming bump.

The blonde beauty drew even more attention to her pregnancy by wearing a bright pink crop top and leggings, and holding a look of surprise on her face.

Simon, who describes himself as "fat dracula in corrie" on his Twitter profile, already has two sons with his presenter wife.

The couple welcomed their first child Alfie in 2007 followed by their second tot Harry two years later. Simon and Emma then married in 2010.

The Corrie star, who is best known as Steve McDonald on the ITV soap, received a flurry of congratulations from his co-stars past and present.

"CONGRATULATIONS @simongregson123 @emmagleave," wrote Brooke Vincent, who plays Sophie Webster. "I'll drink for you Em don't worry!!"

"Whooo hoooo congratulations to both of you and the family!!" posted Shobna Gulati, who starred on Corrie as Sunita Alahan but left for a second time in 2013.

Katherine Kelly, who used to play Simon's ex-lover Becky McDonald on the soap, also sent a sweet message to the couple, writing: "aggggghhhhh!!! Congratulations my darling friends!!! Woooohooooo!!!!! Xxx".

Simon's fans were equally thrilled about the impending birth of his third baby, with his post gaining 2,600 "favourites" on Twitter in a few hours.
