The happy couple announced they were expecting their second child together in April. "Think I might have left it too late to start legs, bums & tums! #anothercavendish #iamabarrel", tweeted the model, along with a picture showing off her growing baby bump.

Peta's cyclist husband Mark also shared the good news on his own account, writing: "We're taking over… #proud".

After being inundated with congratulatory messages, Peta thanked followers for their support. "Thanks for all the lovely messages my lovelies. Wasn't straight forward from the start so kept it 'mum' so to speak, but over half way now."

The couple have two children together and Peta also has a son from a previous relationship

The couple reportedly kept the news quiet due to possible problems following Peta's cervical cancer scare in 2014. A source told The Sun: "Mark and Peta are delighted to finally share the news!"

Mark and Peta already have a three-year-old daughter, Delilah Grace, while Peta also has a son called Finnbar from a previous relationship.
