Brooklyn Decker and Andy Roddick welcome their first child

Congratulations to Brooklyn Decker and Andy Roddick, who have welcomed their first child together. The couple are now the proud parents of a baby boy, born in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday, 30 September, HELLO! can confirm. Brooklyn, 28, and tennis star Andy, 33, announced their pregnancy on 2 May – but they decided to keep the sex of their baby a secret.

Since sharing their big news, mum-to-be Brooklyn has been keeping her followers up to date on her growing bump, sharing several snapshots documenting her progress on social media. Fans will now be eagerly waiting to hear what the couple have decided to call their newborn. "The name is still debatable," Andy told People in May. "We're open to any and all suggestions. We're going to figure it out as we go."

Brooklyn had previously spoken out about wanting to one day start a family with the love of her life. "He's just the most clever person I've ever met," she told Glamour magazine last year. "He has such a quick mind… He's so clever and his humour is very snarky. It always makes me laugh."

The sweet couple tied the knot on 17 April, 2009 in Austin, Texas. They met after Andy asked his agent to get in touch to arrange a meeting between the pair. "It's a very chivalrous story actually," Brooklyn revealed during an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman in 2010.

"He got his agent to call my agent… I said, 'This guy is a catch!' and just again, his chivalry… It just wooed me. I said, 'This is the man I’m gonna marry', and a year later we are married!"
