Sam Faiers is set to have an extra special Christmas this year as she counts down the days until the birth of her first child. The former TOWIE star, whose baby with boyfriend Paul Knightley is due in just three weeks, has been proudly showing off her blossoming bump on Instagram.

The 24-year-old has been enjoying time relaxing with loved ones in the run up to Christmas, and shared a photo of herself looking effortlessly stylish in a maternity lounge suit that showed off her baby bump on Tuesday.

Sam later got glammed up to enjoy a festive afternoon with her family, including her sister Billie Faiers and niece Nelly. The trio posed for photos in front of the Christmas tree, with an impressive array of gifts scattered behind them.

Glowing in a vibrant red wrap dress, Sam looked thrilled as she cradled her niece for a Christmas photo.

"Such a lovely afternoon with my family," Sam wrote. "We even had our own little miss Santa clause (nelly) & then a rather larger one (me)."

Sam seems be enjoying her pregnancy and has made no secret of her excitement about meeting her bundle of joy. As well as being thrown a baby shower by her nearest and dearest, Sam was also treated to a romantic 'babymoon' in the Maldives by her partner in October – a trip she has since described as "amazing".

While the loved-up pair have been making lots of plans and preparations for their baby's arrival, there is one thing they are keeping a surprise – their baby's gender.

Speaking exclusively to HELLO! Online in October, Sam explained: "We don't know the sex of the baby and we aren't going to find out. We did consider it for a while but we have decided that we want to keep it as a surprise, not just for our family and friends but also for ourselves."
