Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake's son Silas is growing up fast! The proud mum, who welcomed her baby boy in April, gave a rare glimpse at her son on Instagram on Thursday.

While Silas' face is concealed from view, Jessica can be seen lifting him over her shoulder while smiling for the photo. The 33-year-old is relaxed and make-up free, with her hair wrapped in a towel after stepping out of the shower.

Jessica shared the image with online newsletter The Skimm, as well as giving an insight into her busy morning routine, which includes waking up "two hours before I'd really like to".

Jessica Biel gave a rare glimpse at her son on Instagram

Baby Silas is a big part of Jessica's wake-up, with the actress telling the publication that the three things she can't live without in the morning, are "yoga. Eating breakfast with my kid. Listening to Erykah Badu while I eat with my kid. We love her."

As for how she wakes up? "Dishevelled, running late, doing too many things at once and underperforming all of them; but pretty thrilled about mediocrity!"

Both Jessica and Justin keep their son out of the public eye as much as possible, and rarely share photos of the nine-month-old on social media. However their love for their baby boy is clear, with Justin telling his Instagram followers that his son is "truly the greatest gift ever" in a touching post.

Justin described Silas as "the greatest gift ever"

He has previously described fatherhood as the "most insanely amazing, wonderful, unbelievable thing to ever happen", while Jessica said that becoming a mother was "the biggest joy ever".

Speaking during an appearance on the Today show in October, Jessica said: "He's wonderful. He's such a joy. It's an amazing, amazing experience. Incredibly hard – the hardest job in the world. I've never been more thankful and grateful to my own mother."

She added: "It's an amazing responsibility and the biggest joy ever."
