There is a new member of the McBusted baby club after Tom and Giovanna Fletcher became parents for a second time on Tuesday. The happy couple announced the birth of a baby brother for their son Buzz, who will be two in March, on social media.

The thrilled father-of-two tweeted: "Player 2 has entered the game."

The couple have since revealed that they have welcomed a baby boy called Buddy Bob Fletcher, and Tom said he was "overwhelmed with love" for his second child as he thanked fans for their congratulatory messages.

"Completely overwhelmed with love for our second son Buddy, and can't wait for him to meet his big brother," Tom wrote. "Thanks for the lovely messages. X"

Tom's proud mum Debbie quickly expressed her joy at the news, tweeting: "What a day for the Fletcher family."

She added: "Massive congratulations to @tommcfly and @MrsGiFletcher and thank you for my new grandchild x."

His bandmate Matt Willis and wife Emma have two children called Isabelle and Ace, with another on the way. Meanwhile, another McBusted colleague Harry Judd and wife Izzy welcomed their first child in January.

The Fletchers' love story dates back 12 years – a milestone they celebrated by sharing throwback photos on Instagram. The duo married in 2012, but they've known each other a lot longer after meeting at the Sylvia Young Theatre school in London.

The young mother worked right up until the last moment of her pregnancy, with a hectic schedule that included plenty of writing.

"The lead up to Christmas is scheduled to be fairly manic with writing my fourth novel, promoting Dream a Little Christmas Dream and filming for Lorraine," she wrote in her weekly blog for HELLO! Online. "Oh wait, did I mention vlogging, blogging, being a wife, mother to a toddler and getting ready for our next bambino to arrive?"
