Andy Murray and Kim Sears have settled on a name for their baby daughter. The couple, who welcomed their firstborn on 7 February, have named their new arrival Sophia Olivia Murray, a family friend has revealed to the Mail.
Speculation had been mounting that they would choose a traditional Scottish name for their little girl, with bookmakers listing Freya, Alexandra and Elizabeth as favourites. But they instead decided on the pretty Greek name Sophia, which means wise.

No further details have been given about the baby, who weighed 8lbs 10oz at birth, and no photographs have been released. Andy and Kim, both 28, are believed to be keeping a low profile at their family house in Oxshott, enjoying their precious first few weeks with their daughter.
Andy's grandmother Ellen Murray did reveal that Andy phoned relatives to let them know the good news. "Andy phoned and said 'congratulations, you're a great granny'," paternal grandma Ellen Murray, 82, told BBC Scotland from her home in North Lanarkshire. "He told me the baby was 8lb 10oz when she was born. It's wonderful news.
"I don't really know about her name yet but I hope we'll see them all soon," she added. "I'll be looking forward to a cuddle."
The couple tied the knot on 11 April 2015, and welcomed their baby on 7 February 2016
Shirley Erskine, Judy Murray's mum, revealed that the couple didn't know what gender the baby was going to be ahead of the birth. "Andy and Kim said from the outset that they didn't want to know, so I'm assuming that they didn't know and of course none of us knew, so it was nice to get a little surprise like that."
"I am absolutely delighted, as you can imagine," she added. "It seems a long time that we've been waiting for this but all's well now as far as I know. I don't have any details, I just know that I've got a great granddaughter so that is just lovely."
