Chanelle Hayes has revealed she is pregnant with baby number two. A spokesperson for the 29-year-old told The Sun: "I'm delighted to confirm Chanelle Hayes is pregnant with her second child. Although the news came as some surprise, Chanelle, her partner Ryan Oates and son Blakely are incredibly excited to welcome the new arrival later this year." The big announcement comes just two months after the reality star spoke of her fears that her weight gain had left her unable to conceive another child.

Speaking on This Morning to Phillip Schofield and Davina McCall, Chanelle admitted: "I want to have more children - not right now obviously because it's basically impossible. Because I don't think it would be possible. It's terrifying. I think because I've been so extreme with the way I've been doing things, when I do put weight on, it goes on a lot quicker."

The TV personality, who has gone from a size eight to a size 18 in recent years, also revealed that doctors had said she was "on the brink of type two diabetes". She added: "My back's really bad. When I have been to the doctors they have said it’s because of your weight. I really do want to slim down to feel good but also to be healthy. I was happy at 14 – 16. I am an 18 now. I’m on Tramadol, all types of painkillers because I am too heavy for my frame."

Chanelle is already a mum to son Blakely, six, from her former relationship with footballer Matthew Bates. She has been dating PE teacher Ryan for around a year, and has previously said that she could see herself tying the knot. "Ryan doesn't know it yet, but I'm gonna go with a hell to the yes that our relationship is headed to marriage," she said. "It's going really well. Blakely's all for Ryan. He's not interested in me!"
