Jamelia has opened up about her "miracle" third baby for the very first time. Appearing on Lorraine on Monday, the 37-year-old singer revealed that her waters broke when she was just 23 weeks pregnant with her little girl. "I didn't know your waters could break and you can still carry the baby," Jamelia confessed. "When your waters break, they usually think you're going into labour within the hour. From that point they said the baby could come any day now." She added: "There are so many problems that come along with that happening. I was 100 per cent bed rest." Despite that, the star managed to last through to 36 weeks and gave birth to her little girl in December. "It was a really scary time for all of us," she said. "They keep calling my daughter a miracle baby. Going through something like that really opens your eyes."

Jamelia also spoke about the day of her daughter’s arrival – likening it to an episode of Fawlty Towers. "I went into labour that weekend we had that awful snow," she recalled. "My husband was at work, and my eldest daughter had three of her friends over for a sleepover. We ended up having to walk in the snow to the train station – you couldn't make it up! I was in labour. By that point it was just remain positive, make a joke out of it. We did have such a laugh." She concluded: "We've all had a trying time as a family, but I feel blessed."
Of her baby's name, Jamelia revealed: "Her name is True. We've called her True. The reason I hadn't revealed the name or gender was I wanted her to meet my nan and grandad first. She only met them this weekend. I had a lovely little girl, another daughter and her name is True and we put Winter in there too as it's part of the story."
