In a star studded bash attended by Kyle De'Volle, Jaime Winstone, Jordan Barrett and Tish Weinstock Diet Coke celebrated their 40th Birthday with Creative Director Kate Moss in London on Wednesday.

Ever the fashion maverick, Kate championed the 'visible lingerie' trend which has taken the sartorial set by storm this season. Unlike the naked dress, where the wearer wears flesh coloured thongs to not ruin the wearers ‘naked’ illusion of the sheer gown, visible lingerie means that undergarments are worn proudly under translucent materials.

The 48-year-old supermodel made sure all eyes were on her in the plunging cowl neck gown, which was adorned with a shimmering embellished aztec pattern, set atop sheer black gauzy material. Underneath she wore a black pair of briefs which only highlighted the transparency of the dress.

Sheer looks were plentiful on the AW22 runways. Bras were visible through shimmery sequin dresses at Matthieu Blazy’s first collection for Bottega Veneta. Prada made granny pants sultry, allowing them to peek through mesh dresses. Likewise Miu Miu, Huishan Zhang and Fendi all got in on the visible lingerie action.

Kate accessorised with a dramatic black cape coat and stacks of jewellery and tiers of thin chain gold necklaces. Adding height to her 5' 7" frame she opted for platform patent black pumps with skyscraper heels. A snakeskin silver clutch finished off the party-season ready look. Getting into the celebratory mood for the bash, she hit the DJ Booth with close pal DJ Fat Tony.

The industry icon arrived with close pal and beauty editor Tish Weinstock, whose wedding she attended in October. Looking utterly unrecognisable on the first day of the nuptials she attended the Halloween-themed bash which preceded the 'Gothic Black Tie' dress code for the main day of the wedding. In a belted white lace high-necked dress and a fluffy cloak, Kate donned a dark wig and channelled her inner vampiric bride, complete with pointed fangs and a billowing mesh veil.
