Lizzo isn't just a fashion icon, (that Grammy's micro Jacquemus bag moment is etched in our minds forever) it turns out when it comes to her beauty looks the About Damn Time singer is also the ultimate makeup maverick.
In a reel shared with her 13 million followers, she revealed the varied makeup looks she wore on her tour to promote her album Special, with the caption, "SPECIAL TOUR GLAM HAS BEEN ON A WHOLE NEW LEVEL —BADDEST IN THE GAME I FEAR?? what’s ur favorite look so far???"

The man responsible for her stunning and avant garde makeup is Alexx Mayo, who began his career as an artist exploring the facial structure through drawings and painting. "Life is too short to do the same makeup twice," he explains in a statement on his website, which goes some way to explain the variety of looks he has created for Lizzo during her world tour. "Every face has a different story to tell," he says, "My goal is to be able to open people’s eyes to a new idea of beauty and the power of makeup."

Not afraid to experiment with bold colours or graphic liners, the looks he has created for Lizzo have been simply showstopping. Luckily for us, during her tour he has been giving a rundown of each of his creations, including what products he has been using on the flautist.

Warm Coffee Tones - Seattle
This "Flute proof metallisized lip and warm smoke on the eyes," used Charlotte Tilbury products and Lilly Lashes in the style "faux Miami." According to Alexx a fun tip is to "use Charlotte's hypnotizing pop shots not only on the eyes but on the lips for an ultra metallic sparkle finish."
Glam Goth - Indianapolis
VIn a look Alexx dubbed "Glitter Goth Glam" he used black stars and black glitter, combined with a smokey eye to create an look worthy of a 1970s rock star. Kiss eat your heart out.
Mermaid blue - Charlotte, North Carolina
Alexx crafted a dazzling powder blue makeup look complete with dazzling gems in the corner of each ere for Lizzo to wear to her concert at the Spectrum Center. Calling it a "graphic moment" he explained that he used Charlotte Tilbury's "flawless finish brightening powder under the eyes! Makes any eye look POP" as well as Lizzo's signature "faux Miami" Lilly Lashes.
