Jennifer Coolidge was NOT at Milan Fashion Week: Here's what happened

Will the real Jennifer Coolidge please stand up?

They say you can’t be in two places at once, but you can if you’re Jennifer Coolidge. Fans were left baffled when the White Lotus star appeared to be in Milan for fashion week and at the premiere of the new Netflix comedy-horror We Have A Ghost over 4000 miles away in Los Angeles at the same.

‘Coolidge’ (as many thought) arrived at the Diesel show on Wednesday wearing the ultimate metallic ensemble, sporting jeans covered in silver pockets paired with the brand’s signature biker jacket. Fashion fans, Jennifer fans and news outlets were going wild over her look (and yes, Diesel was in on the act…)

But after Jennifer also appeared to slay on the red carpet in Los Angeles at the same time, the world fell into a state of confusion.

It turned out it was in fact British drag queen Alexis Stone, (who is known for artistic life-like creations) who decided to channel their inner and outer Jen Coolidge by taking ‘makeup transformation’ to a whole new level.

Alexis, aka Elliot Joseph Rentz, finally posted a video to their 936 thousand followers on Instagram yesterday, and it has to be seen to be believed.

“Becoming Jennifer ? Watch the Prosthetic Transformation makeup test in how I become @jennifercoolidge,” Alexis explained.

Make up artists and drag fans alike hailed Alexis for the iconic transformation. Charlotte Tilbury’s niece Sofia Tilbury commented on her video ‘Incredible’ whilst others said “That’s f****** incredible, yes to you and you prosthetics guys!“ and “Absolutely?❤️ incredible! Your work is so amazing!”

We’re not sure what’s more impressive: going as far as even wearing fake teeth, or the custom denim zero nicotine vape that she donned as part of the ensemble. Alexis also said it was “A major success giving most news outlets thought I was in fact Jennifer, such a moment”.

Becoming Tanya McQuoid's counterpart isn’t the first time Alexis has taken on the role of a doppelganger. Previous impersonations of Mrs Doutbfire and Dolly Parton are equally as impressive.

‘Makeup transformation’ will never be the same.
