Forget Emily In Paris, Lily in Los Angeles was all we could think about this weekend. Lily Collins turned heads at the 9th annual Breakthrough Prize Awards Ceremony, and though she eschewed Emily Cooper’s signature maximalist dress code, her daring plunge neck dress was certified Parisian chic.
At the helm of celebrity stylist Rob Zangardi (who we also have to thank for many of Jennifer Lopez, Cara Delevigne and Suki Waterhouse’s stellar looks), Lily's look put a cool-girl spin on the little black dress that oozed modern day Audrey Hepburn vibes.

© GettyThe long sleeved, A-line dress from Celine boasted a dazzling embellished trim that amped up the glam whilst creating the illusion of a structured two piece suit. The round collar and daring plunge neckline captured the limelight, whilst thin black tights, plain black court shoes and a fringed updo oozed ultra sophistication.
Neck bijouterie was eschewed to let the diamante plunge neckline do the talking, and a pair of Cartier drop earrings glistening through Lily’s choppy fringe.
Lily posted a series of photos for her 28.7 million Instagram followers saying: “So honored to be part of celebrating and supporting some of the most incredible minds who have changed the world through science. True heroes. Our minds were blown and our hearts deepened. Thank you for all you do for our present and our future…”

It was a busy night for Rob Zangardi who also dressed Friends With Benefits actress and style muse Mila Kunis for the occasion. She stunned in a sequin suit layered with a sheer blouse – a complete Brunello Cucinelli look. We don’t know what we loved more, her glamorous outfit or the way Ashton Kutcher glared at her on the red carpet *wipes tears*.
Supermodel Miranda Kerr also got the ultra elegance memo, wearing a figure-hugging black gown from Zuhair Murad complete with a busty off the shoulder, sweetheart neckline. She paired the dress with a tennis necklace from Rahaminov diamonds, a sleek updo and an eye-catching scarlett red lip.
