There is plenty of change afoot at Gucci, after the brand announced that Sabato De Sarno would be taking the reigns as creative director of the Italian fashion house back in January.

The designer has had some big shoes to fill, his predecessor Alessandro Michele was regarded as the one of the most creative visionaries the house has ever seen and managed to successfully launch the label into the modern age, making it relevant to a Gen Z audience.

One thing that will never change is our love for the brand, which has kept itself at the forefront of fashion since its inception back in 1921 by Guccio Gucci who started the brand in Florence, Tuscany.

We round up the 7 Gucci items we are adding to our cart this season:

The Scarf

The story of Gucci's 'Flora' print began when Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco took a trip to the house's flagship Milan boutique in the 1960s. Rodolpho Gucci wished to gift her a token that was as elegant as she was and commissioned the motif to be hand-painted onto a silk scarf. This one is patterned with the same vibrant blooms alongside the iconic 'GG' monogram. Loop it around your ponytail for the ultimate summer hairstyle, worthy of a royal It-girl.

The Sunglasses

Gucci Eyewear's sunglasses are made from versatile and timeless tortoiseshell acetate. They're designed in an influencer-approved cat-eye shape and have wide arms etched with the gold moniker and light-brown lenses.

The Bag

The crescent-shape design of Gucci's 'Ophidia' bag is distinctive and inspired by the aesthetic favoured in the 1990s. This latest iteration of the iconic style is crafted from lilac textured-leather and canvas-jacquard patterned with a jumbo edition of the label's monogram. Adjust the handle to your preferred drop.

The T-shirt

Gucci's T-shirt is instantly recognisable, thanks to the house's iconic interlocking logo across the front. Featuring a retro print, it's made from soft cotton-jersey and has a slim fit.

The Slides

Gucci's slides draw inspiration from the house’s archival 1970s designs, which thanks to Daisy Jones & The Six could not be more relevant right now. Made in Italy from soft leather, they're detailed with 'GG' cutouts and have slight heels, and in this dusky pink colour are giving us a much needed does of Barbie girl ahead of the film’s July release.

The Wallet

Gucci’s logo-plaque grained-leather wallet features their traditional bamboo embellishment, and this one makes for the perfect spring update for your old coin purse.

The Perfume

Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia eau de parfum is created to be a joyful floral fragrance, which is perfect for the warmer seasons. The scent is built around the gardenia flower, blended with solar jasmine absolute, alongside cheerful pear blossom and sweet brown sugar accords.
