The lifestyle of Victoria Beckham is nothing if not super glamorous, and therefore it felt only right that the fashion designer celebrated her 49th birthday on an epic scale. It's still a year away until she hits the big 5-0, and yet, that didn't stop VB from pulling out literally all the stops to ensure that she marked this year's occasion in style.
Victoria and her former footballer husband David headed to Miami with their children Harper and Cruz for a family dinner at luxury Italian restaurant Cipriani. They met up with their eldest son Brooklyn, who currently resides in the US with his wife Nicola Peltz, and enjoyed what looked like an utterly lavish affair.

© InstagramThe fashion designer looked characteristically chic in an LBD that felt synonymous with her trademark aesthetic. Her tailored blazer dress featured a plunging V-neckline and a mini length, and the 49-year-old styled the piece with sultry fishnet tights.
She wore her dark tresses loose down her shoulders and kept things relatively pared back on the makeup front, sporting a soft smokey eye and a neutral lip.
More evidence that her 49th birthday was a super special occasion came in the form of VB's, celebration food of choice – we had to do a double take.
The former Spice Girl is renowned for her super strict diet and fitness regime, and her birthday track record usually dictates that she marks the occasion with a cake-shaped watermelon. And so, we were quite taken aback by her sumptuous meringue birthday cake, the recipe for which the restaurant is famous.

© InstagramBut the celebrations didn't end there, after mounting David's shoulders and spending some time in the sea, Victoria attended a further bash with some pals which saw her blowing out the candles of yet another cake (this one brimmed with fruit FYI). The fashion mogul looked elegant in a slip-style lilac ruffle dress from her own line, and we couldn't help but wonder whether she wished for a totally empty seascape so she could pose kissing David.
Her wish is Miami beach's command…
