We didn’t think it was possible for Victoria and David Beckham to become even more 'couple goals' than they have been for the last 20-something years. But the stylish duo have soothed our sartorial souls once again in their signature matching outfits style, with the addition of a hilarious and wholesome date night video.
The idyllic couple who celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary in July this year have given us some of the most iconic twinning moments in fashion history. And their latest outing has proven they’re not stopping anytime soon.
The duo both opted for all-black ensembles that could easily have fooled us into thinking it was the 90s. Victoria exuded 'salsa-chic' in a plain black t-shirt tucked into a pair of skintight wet-look leggings, and a pair of sky high stilettos that David and Harper were apparently 'embarrassed' she’s wearing. David also wore a black t-shirt tucked into a pair of trousers.
Before showcasing their salsa skills in the one minute and 25 second video, singer cum fashion designer Victoria said: “I can’t wait to see David Beckham salsa” our sentiments exactly, VB…
Though Posh Spice’s dancing in stilettos was still incredibly impressive, she was in a girl band when synchronised dance moves were in their prime, therefore we're not surprised she can move. But David Beckham’s ability to move (though not quite 'snake hips' status), was a welcomed surprise.
A contender for the designer duo's most memorable matching ensemble was their head-to-toe 90s leather look – wearing the Gucci attire to a Versace dinner (brave) in 1999. But they’ve continued to put on a united front for 24 whole years through their sartorial agenda. Last summer Victoria captioned an image of her and David on their summer holiday “Looks like I inspired @davidbeckham again!!! matchy matchy”.
Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz also took the twinning approach last month and channeled David and Victoria in matching white unbuttoned shirts.
We are not, not obsessed.
