Many of us had our bank holidays weekends interrupted by intense storms – and poor Binky Felstead looks like she's suffered from them more than most. The mum-of-one took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal that her 11-month-old daughter India's nursery was ruined by flash floods. The Made in Chelsea star uploaded pictures to her Instagram Stories showing the room covered in a thick layer of mud and water, with India's toys dotted around. Binky captioned one "Happy bank holiday to me" and the other "Cheers to last night's storm".

Binky shared this shocking snap

Binky had been holidaying with friends in the Isle of Whight while her partner and former MIC co-star Josh Patterson – who she shares the London house with – was working on a photoshoot in Capri, Italy. She had perviously shared cheery snaps of her and India playing on the beach and in the sea. In one photograph, showing India relaxing in the sunshine outside a bell tent, Binky wrote: "At least someone has no idea of the nightmare that's going on back at ours… her nursery is ruined as is all of the bottom floor of our place. Thank you for that last nights [SIC] storm!"

The doting mum recently renovated the London home, meaning the flood has come at a particularly bad time. Binky recently revealed to HELLO! that she would eventually like to move her family out to the country, saying: "The idea is to keep my place or a bigger place in London and then buy somewhere in the country, like West Sussex." She added: "I'm going to start looking for houses soon. I want an old English country cottage with an Aga and a beautiful garden.

"I want to be able to pack up the car on a Thursday or Friday night and take India and [dog] Scrumble and get friends over for the weekend. In winter it'll be big log fires and in summer it'll be sitting in the garden with a paddling pool. That's the dream – the best of both worlds."
