A Kate Middleton lookalike has had a "bump made in various sizes" to keep up with the Duchess of Cambridge's changing appearance.
"As Kate grows I will too," said former waitress Heidi Agan. "To be authentic I thought it was important."
The 32-year-old single mother swapped her £6-per-hour waitressing job at a restaurant in Kettering last year to become a Kate double after repeatedly being told that she looked like the royal.
At the beginning of March Heidi tweeted, "Picked up my 'baby bump' today. How strange." She admitted that she was currently struggling to predict what Kate will be wearing as she has not yet started wearing maternity clothes.
"Her attention to detail has given her the edge in the lookalike world," her casting company Susan Scott Lookalikes told HELLO! Online. "She is in huge international demand."
"We will be looking out for a double of the royal child and we're sure we will receive lots of royal baby applications soon"
Heidi has invested some of her earnings in clothes that imitate Kate's style. She bought a version of the midnight blue Issa dress that she wore to her official engagement announcement as well as a £300 version of the Alexander McQueen evening gown that Kate wore on her wedding day. She also spent £200 on a pair of shoes.
The royal doppelganger spends time researching what Kate has worn and keeps up to date via social media on her whereabouts. She practices her act daily, honing the way she stands and acts in order to replicate Kate as accurately as possible.
"Things like that are all very important if I want to be the best," she said. But Heidi admitted she doesn't share the same taste in men as Kate. "I don't think either William or Harry are my type, they are too tall," she said.
Heidi travels around the UK and abroad earning up to £650 per event. She has made television, radio, corporate and newspaper appearances as the duchess.
