Queen Rania of Jordan had the most "adorable company" as she enjoyed iftar earlier this week. The mum-of-four sat down for a meal with young orphans and seemed captivated by her closest dining companion, a little boy who was seated next to her.

Rania, 45, showed off her maternal side as she chatted away to the youngster and tended to him.

She was accompanied by her daughter Princess Iman, who was learning the royal ropes from her mother.

Queen Rania and Princess Iman enjoyed iftar with a group of orphans

The pair were visiting the Al Hussein Social Foundation for Orphans on Monday where they had iftar – the evening meal during Ramadan when Muslims break their fast at sunset.

Rania, Iman and their fellow guests looked thrilled to be tucking into the mouth-watering dishes spread before them, with the queen taking to Instagram to write: "Adorable company over iftar today; with Iman and a group of children at the Al Hussein Social Foundation for orphans."

The foundation, which was established in 1953, provides accommodation, food, clothing, and educational services to underprivileged children in Jordan.

The mother and daughter made a stylish pair

For her charity visit, Rania was her usual stunning self wearing a pink blouse, cinched in at the waist with a white leather belt. Her lookalike pretty daughter Iman took after her mum in style, sporting a chic patterned jacket.

Iman is the second child and elder daughter of the queen. The 19-year-old is currently attending Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., the same university as her brother Crown Prince Hussein.

Rania seemed particularly charmed by one little boy

The teenager has previously joined her mother on royal outings and learnt about Rania's philanthropic ventures. She has also accompanied her parents to visits to the United Kingdom, France, Italy, China and Japan.

Iman, who also has two younger siblings Princess Salma and Prince Hashem, also attended the wedding of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden to Prince Daniel in 2010.
