"Following a tradition going back hundreds of years, The King presented ‘Maundy Money’ to 74 men and 74 women in recognition of the work they for their and Church and community. Since the reign of Henry IV, the number of recipients has been determined by the Monarch’s age. Find out more about this historic event in our story."

One fan penned: "The King is such a people person. I love the way he takes a person's hand in both of his when they shake his hand. He is so engaged with everyone," alongside a red love heart.
