Travis Kelce had the best response after Prince William admitted he tried to "move him out" of a photo with his children.

The Kansas City Chiefs player, who is married to the Prince's long-time friend Taylor Swift, discussed the now-famous 2024 picture taken at Wembley Stadium with Prince George and Princess Charlotte on his New Heights podcast – marking the moment they went "Instagram official" as a couple.

Speaking on The Graham Norton Show over the weekend, William admitted he hadn't appreciated the "significance" of the post, and had been trying to "move" Travis out of the photo.

Taking to social media on Wednesday, Travis and his brother Jason shared two new versions of the picture, writing: "As you requested, @kensingtonroyal," tagging William and Princess Catherine's official social media account.

In one picture, the brothers edited out Travis entirely, while in the second, a grinning Jason appeared behind the Wales family instead.

It's probably not quite what William had in mind!

Reacting to the picture, Jason joked: "Hey, this was a private photo!"

Royal fans were left in hysterics, with one person writing: "This is brilliant! Removing Travis!"

"I'm laughing so hard I can't see the screen properly," said another.

Travis and Jason addressed the photo incident on their New Heights podcast on Wednesday.

"I get it, man. I think we all get it," Travis said, adding: "I was just a boyfriend at that point. You know? I wasn't her husband yet. You know? We don't really know if this is gonna last, so it's kinda just move out of the way real quick so we can keep this photo forever."

He jokingly added: "Yeah. Hopefully, this doesn't go south. Otherwise, this photo is not gonna be as good. Shout out to Prince William, man."

Travis and Taylor tied the knot at New York's Madison Square Garden in July, though minimal details have been released about the ceremony.

During his appearance on the Graham Norton Show, William was asked if he was aware of the significance of the post.

He responded: "I wasn't until recently. I hadn't appreciated the significance — and actually, I was trying to move him out of the photo.

"But Travis kept coming back in, and I couldn't work out why he kept coming back in," he continued. "I was trying to move him out so it was just me and Taylor and the children."

William's close relationship with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift

The Prince of Wales met Taylor in 2013 when she joined him at a Kensington Palace gala for Centrepoint.

They even went on stage together to perform Bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer", with the Prince later admitting, "I don't know what came over me."

In July 2026, William even made a special guest appearance on the New Heights podcast, revealing he had met Taylor and Travis during a visit to London in May.

This won't be the last we'll see of their ever-growing friendship, however, as the two are going from strength to strength.

Jason's wife, Kylie Kelce, has even invited the Princess of Wales to appear on her podcast!

We'll be eagerly waiting for her response…
