It’s been a hive of activity at Second Act HQ for the past few weeks as we've all been counting down the days (and, of course, planning our outfits) for our annual Power List party which was a roaring success at Mazarine in Mayfair, London, last night. Long-term members of our community will remember last year’s glittering inaugural event, fronted by Davina McCall, in which we brought together a truly inspiring group of high-profile women over 40.
Thanks to our sponsors L'Oreal Paris, this year's was even bigger and better. They love celebrating incredible midlife women as much as we do which is why, at Paris Fashion Week, an array of gorgeous, Second Act powerhouses dazzled at their catwalk show, L’Oréal Paris Le Défilé - including Andie McDowell, Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Celine Dion, Jane Fonda and Kristen Bell.
Gone are the days when actresses and models over 30 were considered past-it - we all know now that getting older makes it more powerful, not less.
