Believe it or not, Disney Cruise Line is launching another ship, and it looks every bit as magical as its predecessors. The Disney Believe, the fourth installment in the Wish class, is setting sail in 2027, bringing more beloved Disney stories to the high seas.

Like its sister ships (the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny), the Disney Believe will have its own story to tell, and this particular story is one of promise and possibilities. The ninth ship in the growing DCL fleet will be filled with stories of Disney characters who believe in themselves, their dreams and in the promise and possibility of a better tomorrow, including Snow White, Ariel, Mirabel Madrigal and more.

So, just what can guests expect onboard? Continue reading for everything you need to know about the Disney Believe.

When does the Disney Believe launch and from what port?

The ship will embark on its maiden voyage on December 18, 2017 out of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Disney Believe will offer four- and five-night sailings to the Caribbean and the Bahamas, making stops at one or both of Disney Cruise Line's dreamy island destinations: Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. General bookings will open on October 19, 2026.

Entertainment onboard the Disney Believe

The Disney Believe will be home to the world's first-ever Encanto musical. The adaptation of the Academy Award-winning Walt Disney Animation Studios movie will debut on the ship's Walt Disney Theatre stage. The production, featuring hit songs from the 2021 movie like “We Don’t Talk About Bruno," will follow Mirabel on her quest to save her loved ones and their home.

The ship's theatrical lineup will also include Tangled: The Musical, which is performed onboard the Disney Magic, as well as the Wish class' original show Disney Seas the Adventure.

Over at the Gazelle, an entertainment hub inspired by the metropolis from Disney Animation's Zootopia films, there will be a new family show with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde that involves guests helping the pair solve their latest case. The Gazelle will also offer trivia, games and immersive character encounters during the day, while at night guests can enjoy adult-exclusive entertainment, silent discos and variety acts.

A new dining experience onboard the Disney Believe

While 1923 and Worlds of Marvel will be familiar to those who have sailed on other Wish-class ships, Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast is a fresh addition to the Disney Believe.

The restaurant is described as "a brand-new, untold chapter in the 'Frozen' story featuring favorite characters like Oaken, Anna and Kristoff. Set in a sommerhus courtyard deep within the forest, Oaken and his family will invite guests to dine together while enjoying the musical stylings of his cousins, who will play their own reimagined renditions of famous tunes from the popular 'Frozen' soundtracks."

On the upper deck, Pluto's Pita Platters is a new offering at Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods, serving a Mediterranean-inspired menu. Two new cafes, Big Hero Sips and Café Kakamora, will also debut onboard the Disney Believe.

Venues for adults onboard the Disney Believe

Disney cruises may be synonymous with family vacations, but the experience isn't just for kids! In addition to dedicated spaces for babies, kids, tweens and teens, the Disney Believe will have bars and lounges for adults. Per DCL, "Several of the bars and lounges on the Disney Believe will feature brand-new designs and menus inspired by the powerful stories that ignite imaginations and quench curiosity, all with a touch of sophistication."

The Disney Believe will be home to a brand new piano lounge called Sea Notes

Among the venues is Sea Notes, a piano lounge inspired by Ariel's grotto. There, in the space with "one of the forgotten treasures from Ariel’s secret grotto" - a pearlescent piano - nostalgic melodies will accompany cocktails or non-alcoholic beverages.

Over at the Wishing Well lounge, guests will step into a storybook as they sit under a canopy of white blossoms and red apples, with furnishings draped in the colors of Snow White's gown, while hand-carved wood framing on the stage pays homage to the Seven Dwarfs' cottage.

A variety of activities and live musical performances will be offered at the Wishing Well throughout sailings. Skygazers is another new addition to the Disney Believe. The magical observatory-themed pub, featuring props and nods to classic Disney stories, is said to be where time stands still, and is where "dreamers and wish-makers will gather beneath the story-filled evening sky."

Meanwhile, returning to the ship is the popular Haunted Mansion Parlor, along with Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, The Rose, Quiet Cove, Senses Spa and Sense Fitness.

Of course, for families, there's no shortage of things to do onboard, from the fan-favorite Pirate's Rockin' Parlay Party and Disney Cruise Line's signature fireworks at sea to the Hero Zone sports arena, which offers a variety of family competitions and DCL's attraction at sea, the AquaMouse, a 760-foot-long water ride that brings riders into a Mickey Mouse animated short with Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

With new experiences, familiar favorites and Disney magic throughout, there is plenty to look forward to when the Disney Believe sets sail.
