Sharon Stone just proved that micro mini dresses are the ultimate sartorial statement for women in their sixties. The actress appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! – and we're obsessed with her daring outfit.

The 68-year-old wore an olive-green mini dress by Saint Laurent. The semi-sheer garment, which exposed Sharon's bra, featured an asymmetric neckline and figure-hugging silhouette that was adorned with ruched detailing. The dress was cut high on the thigh to embrace the 'micro' trend. Sharon layered an ivory-hued blazer that boasted structured shoulders over the look. The ensemble was teamed with sheer fishnet stockings, a pair of patent nude slingback heels, and statement earrings.

Sharon's luscious locks were slicked back into her classic bob cut and her makeup oozed glam, courtesy of a bronze eye and a glossy lip. Following the interview, the actress took to Instagram to share a series of photographs of her stylish look. "Had the best time with @jimmykimmel @ysl @amyoresman @guiniushair @shahcolor @theparislibby @euphoria @hbo," she penned in the caption.

At its core, the 'naked' dress trend is defined by its barely-there materials, sheer mesh, metallic knits, chainmail, lace, and airy organza all play a part in its ethereal appeal. Sharon has taken a subtler approach to the trend, opting for a semi-sheer garment that exposed her underwear without revealing too much.

Exposed bras are part of the larger underwear-as-outerwear trend that's been peppering the runway. During Miu Miu’s autumn/winter 2025 runway, bras were layered beneath ribbed knits or seen peeking out from under ruffled silk dresses.

While Sharon isn't afraid of experimenting with risque fashion, she has previously addressed her Hollywood iconography, known for her bombshell roles in the likes of Basic Instinct. "I was not a sex symbol. I was a symbol of a woman you couldn’t control," she said.

Sharon's beauty philosophy

The actress has embraced ageing in Hollywood and has never been one to shy away from the topic of beauty standards. "This idea that being youthful is the only thing that's beautiful or attractive simply isn't true," the actress told Shape. "I don't want to be an 'ageless beauty.'"

Sharon has also shared her opinion on cosmetic procedures. "If you want to have plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery, live it up; go ahead and have it," she shared with Harper’s Bazaar. "But if you don't want to have it, don't have it."

The actress rather takes a natural approach to her beauty regime. "I’m very Scandinavian in that I think it’s important to scrub your skin," she previously told Allure. "I’m not a person who believes in a ton of different steps – just clean your face well with hot water and scrub."
