Demi Moore is turning the French Riviera city into her very own runway as she served up a fashion marathon for the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival this week. Styled by Brad Goreski, the actress graced the red carpet in a custom Jacquemus gown.
The garment oozed high-octane glamour with its pearlescent sequin embellishments. The floor-length dress featured a bandeau neckline with a peplum waist and mermaid skirt. Demi accessorized with a diamond-encrusted necklace and a pair of floral-shape earrings by Chopard.
Demi's luscious raven locks were left down in a sleek, straight style while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a dark smoky eye and a glossy pink lip.
On the carpet, the star was asked about the blend between art and politics in the films presented. "I think part of art is about expression. So if we start censoring ourselves, then I think we shut down the very core of our creativity, which is, I think, where we can discover truth and answers," she replied.
Earlier that day, Demi attended a photocall for the jury members alongside jury president Park Chan-wook, Chloé Zhao, Stellan Skarsgård, Ruth Negga, Laura Wandel, Diego Céspedes, Isaach De Bankolé, and Paul Laverty. The actress slipped into another Jacquemus number – this time plucked from the maison's fall/winter 2026 runway.
The party dress featured a colorful polka dot print with matching 3D pom pom appliqués. The strapless gown was cinched at the waist via a belted design and boasted a ruffled bottom hem. Demi accessorized the look with the matching Valérie bag and a pair of bow-adorned white pumps.
"It is an immense honor for me to be here," Demi said. "I had a wonderful experience here two years ago, and just to be surrounded by the love of cinema, the joy of immersing myself with those who share this passion, is simply a true joy. And who can complain about the beautiful view of this incredible place? I had only been to the Cannes Film Festival once before, and as someone's chaperone. So to be here makes me really, really immensely honoured, I feel like a little girl playing big."
For a more casual look for dinner, Demi opted for head-to-toe Gucci. The look consisted of an ivory-hued bomber jacket from the brand's fall 2026 collection. The garment was layered over a white tee and styled with black tailored pants. Demi donned a Borsetto shoulder bag and a pair of horsebit pumps for a refined finish.
