Tom Holland proves to be ultra-generous after $12k gift to famous friend

Tom Holland proved just how kind he can be. The Spider-Man: Brand New Day actor leaned into his love language of gift giving for his famous friend.

Tom's Marvel co-star, Jacob Batalon, showed off his $12k gift while briefly appearing on Good Hang with Amy Poehler. The actor was on the show to, as Amy puts it, talk well behind Tom's back. And by doing so, he revealed all the benefits of his decade-long friendship with Spider-Man.

"I don't want to flex too hard, but he just bought me this little [Rolex]," Jacob said as he showed off the luxury watch to the screen. "I wanted to wear it for him, because that's my boy for life."

While the actor didn't confirm which Rolex Tom bought him, after an extensive search on the Internet, I believe it is the Rolex GMT-Master II 126720VTNR, better known as the "Sprite." The watch goes for a cool $12.5k.

"I hope he doesn't mind that I told everyone that," Jacob said, adding. "I know he would never talk dirty behind my back. He's just an amazing, good person."

During Tom's interview with Amy, she revealed that Jacob flashed his gifted Rolex, to which the Spider-Man: No Way Home actor replied: "Oh really, he showed you? Nice."

For the actor to be casually gifting $12.5k watches to his friends, Tom must be worth quite a bit. The Spider-Man star is reportedly worth some $25 million.

He broke onto the scene when he was just 12, starring as Elliot in Billy Elliot the Musical on the West End. Soon after, Tom was cast alongside Naomi Watts in the devastating film, The Impossible. But it was his participation in Spider-Man that really built his wealth.

During Tom's debut as the superhero, he made a reported $250,000. In the next four films, he earned some $17.5 million. These days, he's moved on to even bigger films, starring in one of the films of the summer, The Odyssey, alongside Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, and his longtime partner Zendaya.

Outside of acting, Tom is quite the businessman. He is a Global Ambassador for Prada and the founder of the premium, non-alcoholic beer, BERO. "Building BERO is one of my proudest achievements," the actor said on the brand's website.

Tom, who has been in a relationship with Euphoria actress Zendaya for five years, lives in London and Los Angeles. It's reported that the couple shares a $3.35 million, six-bedroom home in London, which includes a movie theater and a gym.

Before the two were together, Zendaya purchased a $1.4 million home in Southern California. The mansion is 4,155 square feet and includes a gourmet chef's kitchen, and pool and spa in their backyard.
