Larry Birkhead has voiced his fears for his daughter, Dannielynn, over the upcoming biopic about Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, who was implicated in Anna Nicole Smith's 2007 death.
Trust Me, I'm a Doctor is based on Sandeep's 2017 book, in which he details his experience being Anna Nicole's primary physician before she died following a drug overdose aged 39.
In a new interview, Larry, 53, slammed the biopic, voicing his concerns that it could bring "harm" to his and Anna Nicole's 19-year-old daughter.
"We absolutely object to any of Anna Nicole's, my life, my daughter's life being used in a movie, and being made characters out of someone [who] was a doctor that supposedly people were supposed to trust," the photographer told Entertainment Tonight.
"I actually have had conversations with this doctor and his representatives. I warned them about the harm and the emotional distress that this puts on not just myself but also, most importantly, Dannielynn, and how this could impact her and the things that she sees," he continued.
Even though Dannielynn is over 18, Larry noted that as her dad, he will still "continue to protect her daily."

"I have filed a complaint with the California Medical Board over Dr. Kapoor's participation in this movie," he said. "I'm just going to let the process, you know, play itself out, and see what they have to say about that."
Larry revealed that Dannielynn also "had some choice words" about another movie being made about her late mom, noting that Anna Nicole's story "has been done several times" before.

The biopic will see Abbie Cornish take on the role of Anna Nicole, and Larry isn't a fan of her casting either.
"I recently saw the actress that is portraying Anna," he told the outlet. "I'm sure she's probably a nice girl and a great actress. But I don't think she quite embodied Anna Nicole.
© Getty Images"And that's not really an attack on her," he added. "I have yet to see someone who actually embodied the spirit and the looks and the persona of Anna Nicole."
In 2009, Sandeep was charged with conspiracy, excessive prescribing of opiates and sedatives to an addict, and fraudulently obtaining drugs by using false names.
He was acquitted on all counts following a 2010 trial, and penned his book, Trust Me, I'm a Doctor: My Life Before, During and After Anna Nicole Smith, in 2017.
In the book, Sandeep recalled his experience with Anna Nicole, his subsequent indictment for allegedly overprescribing medication, and his eventual 2010 acquittal on all felony charges.
