Sydney Sweeney just proved that the recipe for a flawless outfit really is that simple – you can't go wrong with a white tank top and a pair of denim jeans. It's a sartorial combination that has stood the test of time when it comes to the fashion archives.
The actress took to Instagram on July 22 to unveil her latest campaign with American Eagle. Sydney posed in a white tank top that featured spaghetti straps and a plunging neckline styled with a pair of low-rise, dark-wash jeans. The star cinched a denim shirt round her waist for a double-denim look.
Sydney's bombshell blonde locks were styled into bouncy waves while her makeup was left natural and radiant, courtesy of a rosy cheek and nude-stained lip. "It's low rise season @americaneagle #AEpartner," she penned in the caption.
This isn't the first time the 28-year-old has collaborated with the brand. Back in April, she launched her Syd for Short: American Eagle Jean Shorts collection. The summer collection featured more than 850 fresh designs, centred on easygoing, go-to staples, from loose-fit jeans to adaptable tops perfect for day-to-day summer outfits.
"There's something timeless about a great pair of jean shorts. They're simple, but they make you feel confident and put-together without trying too hard," said the actress in the official press release. "Crisis Text Line, a cause so close to my heart, has been a part of this partnership from the beginning. I love knowing that when everyone wears these pieces, they are also a part of something meaningful, that directly helps people who need it."
Sydney Sweeney's secret to her sculpted figure
Sydney's physique looks so toned in her new campaign photos are it's all down to her dedicated workout routine. She often attends Solidcore, a US pilates studio. Solidcore describes its classes as "a high-intensity, low-impact full-body workout on a pilates-inspired reformer. With the lights down and music up, you’ll find a stronger version of yourself by the first song change. Our core workout utilises slow and controlled movements scientifically designed to break down muscles (to failure) so they build back stronger."
Sydney has shared that pilates is "one of the greatest workouts you could do" and she attends the classes two and three times a week. "It just makes me feel so toned and strong, but also elongated, and I feel so good doing that," she told Women's Health.
