See Punky Brewster star Soleil Moon Frye's gorgeous transformation from child actor to today as she turns 50

Soleil got her start in acting when she was only two years old and had her acting debut in Missing Children: A Mother's Story in 1982.

The following year, she was featured in Who Will Love My Children? A year later, she appeared in Ernie Kovacs: Between the Laughter and Invitation to Hell.

When Soleil was only seven years old, she became a household name for kids across the United States, thanks to her iconic role portraying Punky Brewster starting in 1984.

Sadly due to the show's low ratings, the series was eventually cancelled by NBC. It aired for two more seasons when Columbia Pictures Television picked it up, and then the show finally concluded in 1988.

She also voiced Punky in an animated series titled It's Punky Brewster.

After Punky Brewster ended, the star became the co-host of the talk show Girl Talk. She also appeared in Cadets and Where's Rodney? but neither got picked up as series.

Next she was featured in Saved by the Bell, Friends, and The Wonder Years. She also provided voiceovers for the animated series The Ren & Stimpy Show, The Cartoon Cartoon Show, as well as Tiny Toon Adventures.

In 2000, she portrayed the role of Roxie King in Sabrina the Teenage Witch and she was also one of the voices for Bratz's video game franchise.

In 2021, the Punky Brewster series was revived but it only lasted for one season. 

Soleil moved to New York City in 1996 to study at The New School and she showcased her first film called Wild Horses two years later.

In 2004, she debuted her film Sonny Boy, which was her second time directing a film. In 2021, she directed Kid 90.

Soleil also opened a children's boutique called The Little Seed, which has since transferred online.

She is also an author who published her book "Happy Chaos: From Punky to Parenting and My Parenting and My Perfectly Imperfect Adventures in Between" in 2011. She published her second book "Let's Get This Party Started" two years later.

The star also hosted Her Say and launched a parenting blog. On top of that, the entertainer also co-founded a brand called P.S XO, which offers D.I.Y. projects for families.

Soleil married Jason Goldberg in 1998 and they welcomed four children into the world together including Poet Sienna Rose, 20, Jagger Joseph Blue, 18, Lyric Sonny Roads, 12, and Story Indigo Moon, 10.

They were married for over two decades, however, they got divorced in 2022.
