Clay Aiken is one proud dad!
The former American Idol contestant has mostly kept his personal life out of the spotlight since becoming a dad.
But to celebrate his son's 18th birthday, Clay couldn't wait to shine a light on him.

He simply captioned the picture: "The best thing I've ever done. Happy birthday."

Others were "speechless" at how grown up Parker looked, and he was inundated with birthday love.
Becoming a parent was the catalyst for Clay to reveal his sexuality as he no longer wanted to 'lie'
Clay secured his dream of parenthood with the help of his best friend, music producer Jaymes Foster. They chose to co-parent a child together and were thrilled when Jaymes became pregnant via IVF.
The birth of Parker was a catalyst for Clay to come out publicly as gay on the cover of People magazine one month after his son was born.
"It was the first decision I made as a father," Clay told the outlet. "I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn't raised that way, and I'm not going to raise a child to do that."
Giving Parker a normal childhood was incredibly important to Clay and Jaymes

He prioritized school runs and domestic life over grueling tour schedules.
Although he's lived a life far from the glare of Hollywood, Parker made a rare public appearance on TV alongside his parents on Celebrity Family Feud in 2024.
Jaymes Foster is the sister of music mogul David Foster who is married to Kat McPhee
Parker grew up around a famous family which Clay highlighted when he spoke to PauseRewind.
"He comes from a family where he's had plenty of famous family members, you know. His uncle is David Foster," Clay pointed out. "His aunt now is Kat McPhee, who came in second on 'Idol.' Parker's grown up around it. He's important. He's impressed by very little of it."

Talking about the unconventional way he was raised, Clay told People: "No matter what the situation you're in, if you're raised in a loving environment, that's the most important thing."
He added that he and Jayme just wanted Parker to be raised in a way that was "accepting and allowing to be happy."
