In the caption, the entertainer opened up about the challenges that came with the bold decision, writing: "Moving your whole life across the country is a leap of faith."
The singer gave immense credit to her movers who made the bittersweet journey easier.
She continued: "The @roadwaymoving team stopped being strangers about ten minutes in. They carried two decades of my life across 2,000 miles and set it down in Nashville without a scratch."
The star continued: "I got to say goodbye to my old home without worrying about what was in the truck and if it was going to make the trip in one piece. That's worth everything during a week this emotional." Rumer concluded: "New chapter, officially delivered."

About Rumer's family
Rumer isn't embarking on the cross-country journey alone because she's taking her three-year-old daughter along for the ride.
The entertainer welcomed Louetta Isley Thomas Willis with her ex-boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas in 2023. She lovingly wrote on social media: "You are pure magic. You are more than we ever dreamed of."
In 2024, the star revealed on Instagram Stories that she had an updated relationship status of
"Single momming it and co-parenting," and Rumer relocated to Idaho after the duo's split.
Rumer's big move arrived two months after she got primary physical custody of Louetta.
Per her filing, which was obtained by People, the former couple will both participate in co-parenting counseling and will remain connected solely through a co-parenting app.
