Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham looked more loved-up than ever as they packed on the PDA during a glamorous night out in Venice.

The couple put on an affectionate display on the red carpet on Saturday evening, with Brooklyn, 27, planting a sweet kiss on his wife's cheek as they posed together ahead of the It Will Happen Tonight screening at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.

Nicola, 31, ensured all eyes were on her in a dramatic cobalt blue Balenciaga couture gown, which featured a daring cut-out design across the bodice.

The one-shouldered creation hugged the actress' figure before falling into a sweeping train, while a matching veil-like panel added even more drama to the striking look.

Keeping her accessories to a minimum, Nicola allowed the vivid gown to take centre stage, wearing her brunette hair swept back from her face.

Brooklyn, meanwhile, looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo and bow tie as he stayed close to his wife throughout their appearance.

The pair appeared completely smitten as they posed for photographers, with Brooklyn wrapping a protective arm around Nicola's waist before leaning in to kiss her on the cheek.

Their romantic display came just hours after Brooklyn proudly supported Nicola as she accepted the Rising Star Award at the 25th Kinéo Awards, an event held alongside the Venice Film Festival. The Kinéo ceremony took place at Casa Cinema Giovani on the Venice Lido on September 5.

For her big moment, Nicola swapped cobalt blue for an elegant floor-length black gown, accessorised with statement emerald and diamond drop earrings.

Brooklyn was once again close by, holding onto her arm and accompanying her as she made her way to the podium.

During her acceptance speech, a visibly emotional Nicola paid tribute to the people closest to her – including her husband.

"My family are my everything," she told the audience before thanking her parents, brothers and Brooklyn for always believing in her. She added that their support was the reason she was able to "reach to the stars".

Also there to watch Nicola receive the honour were her billionaire businessman father Nelson Peltz, mother Claudia and brother Bradley.

The actress also singled out Hollywood legend Faye Dunaway, who received a lifetime achievement honour at the same ceremony and stars alongside Nicola in her upcoming movie Prima.

Nicola described the 85-year-old as an inspiration and spoke about how much she had valued the opportunity to learn from her.

Nicola and Brooklyn's especially affectionate appearance comes amid continued attention surrounding Brooklyn's strained relationship with his famous family.

The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham publicly addressed the family rift earlier this year, making it clear that Nicola remained firmly at the centre of his life.

And in Venice, the couple appeared determined to focus on Nicola's professional milestone, looking relaxed and affectionate throughout their latest run of appearances together.
