Dakota Johnson is somewhat the undisputed queen of naked dressing – but this time she's infused the opaque layers with a dark, sultry twist.
The actress stepped out for the Vogue World 2026 Milano showcase on September 22. Dakota slipped into a romantic ensemble from Valentino's fall 2026 collection titled Interferenze by Alessandro Michele. The look consisted of a black velvet jacket styled with a basque skirt that fell into a transparent underlayer crafted from chiffon and trimmed with lace. The blazer, which featured a plunging neckline, was left open to expose the star's silhouette. The look was teamed with lace pumps adorned with floral accents and a leather handbag.
Dakota's dark locks were styled into soft waves while her makeup was left natural, courtesy of a bronze eye and a glossy lip.

Plucked from the spring/summer 2026 ready-to-wear collection, the dress was adorned with floral appliqués and intricate embellishments. It boasted a tulle-ruffled neckline and sheer lining for a daring finish.

The 36-year-old previously opened up in an interview with Vogue Germany about claims that her daring fashion choices might be "too sexy".

She continued: "Sometimes those dresses look good on me. But there are also some we've tried on that didn't look good at all. It depends on the shape, the finish, the color, and everything else. So if I find a beautiful dress that I feel comfortable in, of course I want to wear it! And it's fun to wear a sexy dress."

"She taught us how to take care of our bodies and love them, and that our bodies are beautiful. And I think that's something really important for a young girl because we're constantly told that we're not good enough. "And if you're not told from a young age by the woman you look up to the most that you're perfect and smart and special and strong and brave, it can really break you. It's hard to re-teach yourself that love later on. That was a huge gift she gave me."
