Neil Patrick Harris revealed what his rarely-seen teenage twins are really like.
The actor shares Harper Grace and Gideon Scott, both 15, with his husband since 2014, David Burtka.
The star got candid about what his children really think of him on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle on September 29.
© InstagramSheinelle Jones was positive that his twins were highly impressed by his career, stating: "They know how cool you are, obviously, at this point."
Contrary to Sheinelle's take, Neil confessed: "Oh, I don't think they think I'm cool at all. I'm one of their fathers."
Sheinelle asked: "How old were you when you did Doogie [Howser, M.D.]," to which Neil replied: "I was 15, turning 16," and she confirmed, "Oh, so you were their age."
Neil gushed about his children and their growing aspirations during the interview.
He revealed: "My son Gideon now, is going to a professional performing arts school, here in New York. So he wants to be an actor as well."
Neil continued: "They're just amazing human beings. I think the world of them." Sheinelle interjected: "As you should."
© InstagramThe How I Met Your Mother star recalled: "I wasn't emotional when they were little kids because there was so much time that they could grow, but now that they're in high school, I just watch them with so much pride."
Jenna Bush Hager chimed in: "I feel that exact way."
The duo announced the exciting news that they were soon-to-be parents, via a surrogate in 2010.
Three years after their birth, Neil and David romantically tied the knot in Italy and the twins attended the special ceremony.

Neil shared with Daily Pop: "We can all play together at our own levels, different mini-games, which is awesome. I love it. It's a good way to keep us together as a family and play awesome games. And learn, it's educational."
The actor previously joked with Entertainment Tonight: "We keep being told that at a certain point, they're going to hate us – that hasn't happened yet. So you know, so far, so good!"

In 2023, the star got emotional as he wished the twins both a happy 13th birthday on social media. He lovingly wrote: "And, just like that, they're teenagers. Happy birthday, Harper and Gideon. You are the lights of my life. I can't wait to watch you want nothing to do with me, and I promise I'll be with you through all of it. Just, wow."
