Congratulations to Bo Bruce, who has announced her engagement. The singer is set to tie the knot with Zero 7 musician Henry Binns, and says she "couldn't be happier".

Bo shared the happy news on Thursday with an Instagram photo which showed her sipping on a glass of champagne while showing off her new engagement ring.

The 30-year-old later shared another photo of herself and her new fiancé walking along the street while he carried a suitcase.

"Bag carrier," Bo wrote, adding ring and heart emoticons.

The images led to a number of congratulatory messages, including one from fashion designer Savannah Miller, who wrote: "Big congrats love x".

Bo has since confirmed her engagement to the Daily Mail, saying: "I get to wake up to my very best friend and wingman for the rest of my life. We couldn't be happier."

The couple first met when Henry worked as a producer on her album, and she previously credited the 44-year-old for helping her to cope with the death of her mother, the Countess of Cardigan, in 2012.

Bo was previously linked to The Script frontman Danny O'Donoghue, who was her mentor on The Voice. However he later denied that they were ever in a real relationship.

"We decided to let the story run to keep her name in the papers," Danny said in 2013, "So that she was still in the public sphere when she released a single."

Bo has since insisted that they did have a "spark" telling the Daily Mail: "We had a thing, for sure. My mom was dying and there was a spark between us. After the live shows – before mum died – we hung out once or twice and we snogged.

"We were both going through stuff. He wasn't my boyfriend but possibly, in another world, there might have been something."
