12 JULY 2002
Hunky Brad Pitt has edged out curvy stunners Gisele Bundchen and Halle Berry in the heavenly bodies stakes, being voted as the proud owner of the best body in showbiz by the leading US entertainment show Rank.

His closest rival was in fact chameleon superstar and self-confessed yoga addict Madonna, famed for her gruelling dance routines and healthy eating habits. Right behind them came Benjamin Bratt, Gisele, Janet Jackson and Britney Spears.

The top 30 held a few surprises, with rocker Sting making it in at No 15, only five places behind J Lo, and four ahead of Aussie songstress Kylie Minogue. Sex bombs Denise Richards (recently married to Charlie Sheen) and Carmen Electra only just scraped in at 27 and 30 respectively.

There was something for all tastes, with beefcake wrestler/actor The Rock weighing in at No 18, firm favourite and mother-of-two Cindy Crawford making a more than respectable showing at No 25, and down under up-and-comer Hugh Jackman trotting straight in at No 14.

But it was Brad who took top honours, and with wife Jennifer Aniston grabbing the No 12 slot, the handsome couple have now established themselves as the embodiment of a marriage in good shape.
