THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE GORGEOUS

There's a new cowboy in town, and he shoots so fast he doesn't even have to use his hands. And be warned - the stetson-wearing wrangler is about to take on the world's deadliest shots in a western shoot-out.

"Boot-slinger Beckham" will be taking on the "Madrileño Mobsters" in a new ad for Pepsi that will put their pistol-packin' penalty skills to the test. England ace David faces off with Real Madrid stars "Wrecker" Raul, "Bullet from Brazil" Roberto Carlos, and the fearsome Zinedine Zidane in a reconstruction of the gunfight at the OK Corral.

Up against these adversaries even Becks will need a little help, but thankfully his Manchester United pals will be there, too. David can count on Juan Sebastian Veron, Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to watch his back.

The multi-million-pound commercial pits the teams against each other in a spoof Champions League spaghetti western. “I think this is my favourite ad so far. I used to play cowboys and Indians as a boy," said Beckham. Hopefully his skills haven't gone rusty since then, as the Madrid strike-force is not one to be trifled with.

The advertisement will be hitting our screens in April, so we'll have to wait until then to see if David can beat Real's keeper, Iker Casillas, on the draw. All sounds a bit dangerous - maybe there should be a ref.
