The champagne was flowing as a group of celebrity racecar drivers sped into Toronto at the weekend.

Close friends Corey Feldman and Corey Haim, who starred together in the 1987 hit The Lost Boys, were reunited for the Bullrun event, which took drivers from New York City to Toronto en route to Los Angeles.

“I love fast cars,” said Toronto native Corey Haim. “This gives me the opportunity to see how low I can fly under the radar without getting ticketed,” he joked. Also participating in the coast-to-coast event was Olympic sprinter Carl Lewis.

And in the evening, the celebrity drivers mingled with a host of other famous faces, including Desperate Housewives actor Jay Harrington – who played Susan’s love interest Dr Rob - and Canada’s Next Top Model judge Stacey McKenzie, at an exclusive bash in Toronto’s Century Room nightclub.

Not all the contestants had an entirely smooth ride into town, however. Hunky Star Wars actor Hayden Christensen experienced a spot of bother with his Ferrari while driving up through New York State, although he later joined up with his fellow star speedsters for the next round.
